No matter how you look at it, the UK is probably going to go into lockdown any day. While many have been panic buying, many more have not been social distancing. Pubs are now closed, and people are still out and about, and we’re not talking about people going to work. Some in the community are already in self isolation, some through choice, some because they have health issues. But how are we going to cope?
So let’s motivate the public. This is the time to literally save peoples lives, you can be a hero by literally doing nothing. You can be a hero sat on the sofa.
The kids have finished school and if China is anything to go by, the divorce rate is going to rocket in the UK, but then again, that’s maybe fake news as China changed the rules on divorce late last year, but thats another storey.
We really don’t know how long this will last. China did it in 3 months, but they put the country into lock down.
Like many we have kids in our house hold, and keeping them occupied is key to a lock down/self isolation. Here are some tips to help pass the time.
Grow Some Vegetables
Turning a small part of your garden, window box or plant pots into a mini market garden. It’s easy if you can follow the instructions and you’ve have some home grow produce on your dinner table.
Ever thought about baking some bread, modern bread makers now make it very easy to have home baked bread, and many of them come with great recipe books and instructions. Weigh the ingredients put them in the machine and it does the rest, does it get any easier, and the smell of home baked bread is great.
