Here at EV Accessories the health and well being of those we work with and our customers is a priority. Due to social distancing we have decided to stop our Saturday dispatch. This has been canceled until further notice. This is due to the need for us to take the parcels to the local Royal Mail office, which isn’t in keeping with social distancing.
Our Monday to Friday Royal Mail dispatch service is unaffected as we have a collection with distancing protocols in place.
Royal Mail – Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am & 1pm
For items posted from Thursday 19 March 2020 onwards, Royal Mail will no longer guarantee deliveries by 9am and 1pm the next working day. They will still prioritise Special Delivery parcels and letters and will aim to deliver before the end of the day. Resource implications of the latest coronavirus advice mean they may not be able to meet the customer promise of guaranteed next day delivery in all locations at all times.
Parcel Force Deliveries.
All orders with Parcel Force shipping / delivery have a 24 hour collection delay as Parcel Force are no longer offering same day collection.
We will not take Parcels to drop off points as this is not essential travel.
All countries across Europe are now under a suspension of service guarantee for delivery speed delays from 16 March 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
Parcel Force Services.
Due to the current situation, there are significant impacts on our logistics providers to maintain service levels. We will continue offering our regular logisitcs services that are delivering parcels for our customers but there may be disruptions to some services under current conditions.
The following table aims to update where there are (1) complete service suspensions (temporary or longer term – where there is no current delivery service) or (2) changes to the standard delivery process .

Public Health England (PHE) has advised that people receiving parcels are not at risk of contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19). From experience with other coronaviruses, we know that these types of virus don’t survive long on objects, such as letters or parcels. This complements the highly publicised guidance from PHE for people to wash their hands more often than usual using soap and hot water.
We are actively monitoring this rapidly evolving situation. We take the health and safety of our people and customers very seriously. We have provided guidance to our people, our customers and communities in which we operate, to help prevent the spread of any infection. We are doing so in line with preventative guidance from PHE.
