Here at EV Accessories the health and well being of those we work with and our customers is a priority. Due to social distancing we have decided to stop our Saturday dispatch. This has been cancelled until further notice. This is due to the need for us to take the parcels to the local Royal Mail office, which isn’t in keeping with social distancing.

We are not suffering from any order processing delays at this time.

Our Monday to Friday Royal Mail dispatch service is unaffected as we have a collection with distancing protocols in place.

Royal Mail Deliveries.

We are continuing see that Royal Mail deliveries suffer from delivery delays across the whole country. So far we believe this is between 4 and 10 working days on first class items. You can find out more from Royal Mail directly below. We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery if you require items as fast as possible.

Royal Mail – Special Delivery Guaranteed by 9am & 1pm

For items posted from Thursday 19 March 2020 onwards, Royal Mail will no longer guarantee deliveries by 9am and 1pm the next working day. They will still prioritise Special Delivery parcels and letters and will aim to deliver before the end of the day. Resource implications of the latest coronavirus advice mean they may not be able to meet the customer promise of guaranteed next day delivery in all locations at all times. 

Parcel Force Deliveries.

All orders with Parcel Force shipping / delivery have a 72 hour collection delay as Parcel Force are no longer offering same day collections and there are delays in getting these colleciton slots

European Deliveries.

All countries across Europe are now under a suspension of service guarantee for delivery speed delays from 16 March 2020 due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

Parcel Force Services.

Due to the current situation, there are significant impacts on our logistics providers to maintain service levels.  We will continue offering our regular logisitcs services that are delivering parcels for our customers but there may be disruptions to some services under current conditions.

  • Suspension of UK Service Guarantee

Due to the current situation, there are significant impacts on Parcel Force’s ability to maintain all their usual service levels.  Parcel Force will continue offering their services, receiving and delivering parcels for our customers but there may be disruptions to some services under current conditions.  As a result, Parcel Force have suspended service guarantees from 18 March 2020 but will seek to ensure ‘all reasonable endeavours’ to maintain service levels where they can.

Parcel Force will always try to deliver any items sent on express9, express10 and expressAM in the morning.

  • Suspension of Sameday Collections

Due to the current situation, Parcel Force have unfortunately had to suspend sameday collections across the UK until further notice to ensure that all items get delivered. Items using Parcel Force will leave EV Accessories with a 24 hour delay.

  • Express24large is now suspended

To enable Parcel Force to effectively manage volumes and ensure their people can operate safely, express24large service suspension will remain in place.
